Their early struggles highlighted the rest of the innings and if they would be able to recover from it.
Liam Livingstone scored 54 runs for RCB in the game against GT. He showed fight attempt to anchor the innings, but did not have the support he needed. Jitesh Sharma and Tim David made some runs with scores of 33 and 32, but RCB needed more as the innings was short of strong partnerships.
Siraj singlehandedly demolished RCB’s score as he bowled against his former team. He had a fantastic spell, taking 3 wickets for 19 runs while consistently capturing important wickets. The younger Sai Sudharsan did not shy away from his role and really stepped up to make a valueable contribution of 49 runs. This not only made the task easier for GT, but enabled them to completely dominate RCB. Now, that was one dominant knock which was included in their grand partnership of 122 runs.
To add the cherry on top, Sherfane ruthford, simply by karting a quickfire 30 runs. Jos Buttler’s Heroics: The performance that single handedly had an impact on GT’s chase in the GT and RCB clash was none other than Buttler’s. He scored an explosive 73* and lead his team to victory and hit the targets with his balance of pace and power. His brilliance in IPL continues to remain a hallmark for GT.
RCB’s First Loss of the Season: It was great to see Livingstone’s 54 and Sharma and David doing their part.
